Definition
漱口 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to rinse the mouth' or 'to gargle'. The two syllables 漱 and 口 can be separated to insert aspect markers like 了, 过, or measure words: 漱了漱口 ('rinsed the mouth'), 漱过口 ('have rinsed the mouth'). You cannot put an object after 漱口; instead, use the separated form or place the object before the verb.
