Definition
火热 (huǒ rè) means 'burning hot / fiery' either literally (for objects, fire, or weather) or figuratively (passionate, fervent). Unlike 炎热 (yán rè), which is only used for weather or climate, 火热 is broader in its literal sense. For the passionate sense, 火热 is stronger than 热情 (rè qíng) or 热烈 (rè liè), conveying burning intensity.
