Definition
热腾腾 (rè téng téng) literally means 'steaming hot' and is used for food, but also metaphorically for a bustling scene or for news that is 'hot off the press'. Unlike 全新/崭新 (just 'brand new'), it conveys warmth and energy; unlike 繁华/繁忙 (just 'busy'), it suggests a lively, heated atmosphere.
