Definition
燃气 (rán qì) refers to any combustible gas used as fuel, such as natural gas or coal gas. It is more specific than 气体 (qì tǐ, any gaseous substance) and is a subset of 燃料 (rán liào, 'fuel'). 天然气 and 煤气 are particular types of 燃气.
