Definition
特权 (tèquán) refers to a special privilege or prerogative that is granted to a specific person or group, often implying an unfair advantage. It is distinct from 权利 (quánlì 'right'), which is a legal or moral entitlement available to everyone; 特权 is exclusive by nature. It also differs from 优势 (yōushì 'advantage'), which is a general edge in ability or position, not a granted right.
