Definition
环比 (huán bǐ) compares data with the immediately preceding period (e.g., this month vs. last month, this quarter vs. last quarter). 同比 (tóng bǐ) compares data with the same period a year ago (e.g., this month vs. the same month last year). Use 环比 for short-term trends and 同比 for year-over-year growth.
