Definition
田野 (tiányě) refers to an open expanse of fields or countryside, often with a scenic or natural feel—broader and more poetic than 田 (a single field) or 农田 (farmland). It is similar to 田园, but 田园 carries a stronger pastoral, idyllic tone of rural life.
