Definition
疑虑 (yí lǜ) refers to inner doubt or misgivings, often with unease. It is less actively skeptical than 怀疑 (huái yí, 'to suspect') and more about internal hesitation than 疑惑 (yí huò, 'to be puzzled'). Compared to 顾虑 (gù lǜ, 'apprehension'), 疑虑 emphasizes the doubt itself rather than concern about consequences.
