疗效 (liáo xiào) refers specifically to the therapeutic effect or healing efficacy of a medical treatment, drug, or therapy. It is narrower than 成效 (chéng xiào, result of any effort) and 功效 (gōng xiào, effectiveness of a product or method, not necessarily medical). Use 疗效 only in medical contexts.
