Definition
疯疯癫癫 is a reduplicated form of 疯癫 (fēngdiān 'crazy; deranged'). It describes someone whose behavior or manner is a bit crazy, flighty, or scatterbrained — often in a mildly disapproving or teasing way. It can be used as a predicate (他疯疯癫癫的) or an attributive (疯疯癫癫的样子) and is common in colloquial speech.
