Definition
登陆 (dēng lù) means 'to land' specifically from water onto shore — used for ships, troops, or a typhoon making landfall. For aircraft landing, use 降落 (jiàng luò) or 落地 (luò dì). Note: 登陆 is often mistakenly used for 'log in', but the correct term is 登录 (dēng lù).
