Definition
相交 is a formal verb with two distinct meanings: in geometry and mathematics it describes lines, curves, or planes that meet or cross each other; in social contexts it is a more literary way to say 'to make friends with someone' or 'to have a friendly relationship', often used with 与 or 和 (e.g., 与...相交).
