看护 (kān hù) means to care for someone who is sick, elderly, or vulnerable, with a focus on attentive, protective care. It is more caregiving-oriented than 看 (kān 'look after', which can apply to objects or situations) and less clinical than 护理 (hù lǐ 'nurse, tend to', which often involves medical procedures).
