Definition
秩序 (zhìxù) refers to the orderly state of a system, society, or event — the opposite of chaos. Unlike 顺序 (shùnxù) or 次序 (cìxù), which mean 'sequence, order in a series,' 秩序 is about overall orderliness and stability, not the order of items in a list. 制度 (zhìdù) is a 'system/institution' that creates or enforces order, not the state of order itself.
