稚嫩 describes a person's appearance, age, or voice as young and tender, often with a neutral or slightly positive tone. 幼稚 (yòu zhì) is a near-synonym for immature ideas or behavior, but it is more negative and critical (childish, naive). 嫩 (nèn) focuses on physical tenderness of food, colors, or inexperience, not on overall youthfulness.
