篇幅 (piān fú) refers specifically to the length or space of a piece of writing—how long an article is or the space it occupies on a page. Unlike 长度 (cháng dù, physical dimension) or 长短 (cháng duǎn, length in general or duration), 篇幅 is only used for written works like essays, books, or reports.
