结束 (jié shù) means 'to end / conclude' and often suggests a definitive, planned finish (e.g., a meeting, a class, a relationship). It contrasts with 完 (wán), which is a simpler, everyday verb for 'to finish / be done' (e.g., homework, food) and is also used as a result complement (做完).
