Definition
联想 means 'to associate' in the mind — connecting ideas, memories, or concepts. It is different from 相处 (to get along with people) or 交往 (to socialize), which are about interpersonal relationships. In computing, 联想 also refers to auto-complete or word prediction in input methods.
