Definition
良性 (liáng xìng) means 'benign' or 'healthy' in a positive, non-destructive sense – used medically for non-cancerous tumors and figuratively for virtuous cycles or favorable developments. It is more specific than 有利 (yǒu lì 'favorable'), which focuses on advantage, and different from 正面 (zhèng miàn 'positive, direct'), which describes a side or attitude rather than an inherent quality.
