Definition
融化 (róng huà) is the standard verb for physical melting (ice, snow, butter) and dissolving (sugar in water). It can also mean 'blend into' a crowd or environment. For chemical dissolving, 溶解 (róng jiě) is more technical; for merging different elements into a whole, use 融合 (róng hé); for integrating into a group, use 融入 (róng rù).
