Definition
观摩 (guān mó) means 'to observe and learn from someone's example' — it combines watching with the intent to emulate and improve. Unlike 观察 (guān chá, just to watch) or 模仿 (mó fǎng, just to copy), 观摩 implies learning by watching an expert or model. 观测 (guān cè) is scientific observation with instruments.
