解散 (jiě sàn) — to dissolve, to disband

Definition

解散 means to officially end an organized group — a company, team, meeting, or parliament. Unlike 溶解/融化 (physical melting), 解散 applies to organizations; 解体 is more abstract for systems collapsing on their own.
