Definition
让道 means 'to make way' or 'to give way to someone'. It is a separable verb (离合词): the verb 让 and the object 道 can be split, allowing a measure word or other modifier between them, as in 让个道. When specifying who you're giving way to, use the 给-construction: 给某人让道.
