Definition
讼 is a bound morpheme (b.f.) meaning 'lawsuit' or 'litigation'. It does not stand alone as a word; you'll encounter it in formal legal compounds such as 诉讼 (lawsuit), 讼案 (lawsuit case), and 讼争 (litigation dispute). In very specialized contexts, it also names one of the 64 hexagrams in the I Ching, but this is rare.
