Definition
讽 is a bound form (不能单独使用的语素) meaning 'to satirize' or 'to mock'. It always appears in compound words, most commonly 讽刺 (to satirize), but also 嘲讽 (to taunt), 讥讽 (to ridicule), and 讽喻 (allegory/parable). You cannot use 讽 alone as a verb — it must be attached to another character.
