Definition
谎报 means 'to make a false report' — it's used when someone deliberately gives incorrect information in an official or formal context (e.g., a military report, a police report, a medical claim). It is more specific than 说谎 (to lie generally); 谎报 implies a false statement that is supposed to be factual or official. You'll often see it with nouns like 军情 (military intelligence), 警情 (police report), or 年龄 (age).
