谬 is a bound form (cannot stand alone) meaning 'false, wrong, erroneous'. It appears in formal or literary compounds such as 谬论 (fallacy), 谬误 (error), and 荒谬 (absurd). You cannot use 谬 by itself; it must be part of a two-character word.
