Definition
贴身 is a stative verb (adjective) that literally means 'next to the skin' for clothing, and extends to 'personal' for attendants such as a bodyguard or maid (贴身保镖, 贴身丫鬟). It can also describe objects or items that are constantly kept with you (贴身物品). The word conveys a sense of close physical or personal proximity.
