Definition
足 (zú) as an adjective means 'sufficient, ample', often used in formal or written contexts (e.g. 充足, 十足). It differs from 足够 (zú gòu, 'enough to meet a need') and 充分 (chōng fèn, 'full, thorough', for abstract preparation). 足 also appears in the adverb pattern 足以 ('sufficiently to') before a verb.
