Definition
轻微 (qīng wēi) describes something that is slight or mild in degree, such as an injury, illness, or difference. Unlike 细 (xì), which means 'fine' in texture or detail, or 琐碎 (suǒ suì), which means 'trivial' in a bothersome way about matters, 轻微 focuses on low intensity or small extent. 微微 (wēi wēi) is an adverb meaning 'slightly' and is used before verbs or adjectives, while 轻微 is an adjective that modifies nouns.
