Definition
辩证 (biàn zhèng) refers to dialectical thinking or analysis — a philosophical method of examining contradictions and development. Unlike 辩 (biàn) and 辩论 (biàn lùn), which mean 'to debate/argue', 辩证 is about objective, systematic analysis, not verbal dispute. It is used as an adjective ('dialectical') or verb ('to examine dialectically').
