Definition
迁徙 (qiān xǐ) means 'to migrate' and is used for large-scale movement of animals (e.g., birds) or populations. It is more formal and specific than 迁移 (qiān yí), which can also apply to data or system migration. Unlike 迁 (qiān), which often refers to relocating a residence or office, 迁徙 emphasizes seasonal or mass movement.
