透气 (tòu qì) is a separable verb meaning 'to let air circulate' or 'to be breathable' (of fabric). Unlike 通风 (tōng fēng), which focuses on actively ventilating a space, 透气 emphasizes air passing through a material or area. It also means 'to get fresh air' and splits as in '透一下气'.
