Definition
遇见 (yùjiàn) means to run into or come across someone by chance. Unlike 见面 (jiànmiàn), which is for planned meetings of two people and requires 跟/和, 遇见 takes a direct object and is always unexpected. 遇到 (yùdào) is almost the same, but 遇见 puts more focus on seeing the person.
