配乐 (pèi lè) is a verb-object compound meaning to add or arrange background music, typically for films, videos, or games. As a separable verb (离合词), the verb 配 and the object 乐 can be split by measure words (配了一段乐), question words (配什么乐), or the aspect particle 了 (配了乐). Note that 乐 here is pronounced lè, not yuè.
