Definition
酸奶 (suānnǎi) is yogurt — a fermented dairy product. It's different from 牛奶 (niúnǎi, milk), which is plain, unfermented milk. If you want a drink of milk, say 牛奶; if you want the thick, tangy yogurt, say 酸奶.
