Definition
酿造 (niàngzào) means to brew or produce alcoholic drinks, vinegar, soy sauce, etc. through fermentation. It differs from 冲 (chōng) and 沏 (qī), which mean to brew tea or coffee by steeping or infusing, not by fermentation.
