闺女 (guī nü) is a colloquial, affectionate term for 'daughter' — warmer and more familiar than the neutral 女儿 (nǚ ér). It is often used by parents or older relatives in everyday speech. 姑娘 (gū niang) can also mean 'daughter' informally, but 闺女 is more intimate and specifically familial, while 姑娘 also means 'young woman' in general.
