Definition
频率 (pín lǜ) is the general word for 'frequency' — how often something happens or the rate of a wave. It differs from 频道 (pín dào), which means a TV/radio channel (not a rate), and from 次数 (cì shù), which counts the number of times something occurs (e.g., 次数多 'many times') rather than the rate.
