Definition
饺 is a bound morpheme (cannot be used alone) meaning 'dumpling'. It always appears in compound words, most commonly 饺子 (dumpling), and also in 水饺 (boiled dumplings) and 煎饺 (pan-fried dumplings). You must use it within a compound; you cannot say 一个饺 by itself.
