黄昏 (huánghūn) is a literary, poetic word for the twilight period right after sunset, before darkness falls. It is more evocative than the everyday term 傍晚 (bàngwǎn), which simply means 'dusk, around sunset'. 夕阳 (xīyáng) refers to the setting sun itself, not the time period.
