Emphasizing quantity with 都
Use 都 to emphasize that a large group or majority all share the same action or quality. It is placed after the subject, which should be a collective noun like 很多人 or 大家; avoid using it when referring to a single individual.

Subj. + 都 + Verb + Obj.
Subject must be a large group or collective noun.
Examples
- 很多地方都有wifi。Hěn duō dìfang dōu yǒu wifi.A lot of places have wifi.
- 我的很多朋友都有车。Wǒ de hěn duō péngyou dōu yǒu chē.A lot of my friends have cars.
- 很多孩子都不喜欢上学。Hěn duō háizi dōu bù xǐhuan shàngxué.A lot of kids don't like to go to school.
- 大家都来了吗？Dàjiā dōu lái le ma?Is everyone here?
- 大家都应该知道。Dàjiā dōu yīnggāi zhīdào.Everyone should know.
