Expressing "about" with 关于

Use 关于 at the beginning of a sentence to introduce the topic, meaning 'about' or 'as for'. Place it before the noun phrase you want to discuss, and separate it from the main clause with a comma. Remember that 关于 cannot appear later in the sentence – it must always be first.

  • 关于中国历史，我知道的不多。
    Guānyú Zhōngguó lìshǐ, wǒ zhīdào de bù duō.
    As for Chinese history, I don't know a lot.
  • 关于这次考试，我还有几个问题要问。
    Guānyú zhè cì kǎoshì, wǒ hái yǒu jǐ gè wèntí yào wèn.
    As for this exam, I still have a few questions that I need to ask.
  • 关于这个问题，你们还是问他吧。
    Guānyú zhège wèntí, nǐmen háishì wèn tā ba.
    As for this question, you'd better ask him.
  • 关于你的建议，老板还在考虑。
    Guānyú nǐ de jiànyì, lǎobǎn hái zài kǎolǜ.
    As for your suggestion, the boss is still thinking it over.
  • 关于调查结果，我们也不太清楚。
    Guānyú diàochá jiéguǒ, wǒmen yě bù tài qīngchu.
    As for the result of that investigation, we don't know much either.
