Expressing "as much as possible" with 尽量
Place 尽量 directly before a verb or adjective to express doing something to the greatest extent possible, or trying your best. This adverb can be used with both positive actions and negations like 尽量不/不要, often to soften commands or express one's best effort.

Examples
- 我会尽量想办法帮你的。Wǒ huì jǐn liàng xiǎng bàn fǎ bāng nǐ de.I will try my best to figure out something to help you.
- 你看书吧，我尽量不打扰你。Nǐ kàn shū ba, wǒ jǐn liàng bù dǎ rǎo nǐ.Go ahead and study, I'll do my best to not disturb you.
- 你是哥哥，要尽量照顾好妹妹。Nǐ shì gē ge, yào jǐn liàng zhào gù hǎo mèi mei.You are the big brother and you should try your best to look after your little sister.
- 我尽量在这个星期天以前完成这个项目。Wǒ jǐn liàng zài zhè ge xīng qī tiān yǐ qián wán chéng zhè ge xiàng mù.I will do my best to complete the project by this Sunday.
- 这个项目预算很紧张，我们要控制成本，尽量不要超出预算。Zhè ge xiàng mù yù suàn hěn jǐn zhāng, wǒ men yào kòng zhì chéng běn, jǐn liàng bú yào chāo chū yù suàn.The budget for this project is very tight, so we have to control the cost and try not to exceed the budget.
