Expressing "excessively" with 太
Place 太 before an adjective and add 了 at the end to express that something is excessive, often as a complaint. Colloquially, it can also mean 'so' or 'very' for emphasis.

- 米饭太多了。Mǐfàn tài duō le .There is too much rice.
- 现在太晚了。Xiànzài tài wǎn le .Now it's too late.
