Expressing "moreover" with 并且
并且 and its shorter form 并 mean "moreover" or "and also," connecting two verb phrases to show an additional, often simultaneous or consequent action. They are formal conjunctions used exclusively with verbs, unlike 和 which links nouns.
Structure
Verb Phrase 1 + 并且 / 并 + Verb Phrase 2
并且 is more common; 并 is a shorter, equally formal substitute. Both connect verbs, not nouns.

- 我同意并且支持你的决定。Wǒ tóngyì bìngqiě zhīchí nǐ de juédìng.I agree with and support your decision.
- 我会帮你找到问题并且解决问题。Wǒ huì bāng nǐ zhǎodào wèntí bìngqiě jiějué wèntí.I can help you find the problem and also solve it.
