Expressing "stuff like that" with 之类的
Use 之类的 after listing one or more examples to mean 'and stuff like that' or 'and similar things'. You can add 像 before the examples (像……之类的) for emphasis, but it is often omitted. The pattern is placed directly before the category noun, without an extra 的.
Structure
像 + [Example(s)] + 之类的 + [Category Noun]
像 is optional; used to mean 'like'.
[Example(s)] + 之类的 + [Category Noun]
Without 像, the meaning is the same.

- 我家附近有很多像KFC之类的快餐店。Wǒ jiā fù jìn yǒu hěn duō xiàng KFC zhī lèi de kuài cān diàn.There are many fast-food restaurants in my neighborhood, like KFC and others like it.
