Indicating the whole with 全

To indicate 'the whole' of something, place 全 before the noun. It is commonly used with body, family, country, world, day, etc. Usually the pattern is 全 + Noun + 都 + Predicate, and you cannot use 的 directly after 全.

Structure

全 + Noun + 都 + Verb/Adjective
Used with certain nouns (身, 家, 国, 世界, 天, etc.); do not add 的 immediately after 全.
