Phrases using 来说
To express 'for' someone or something from a certain perspective, use the pattern 对 + Person/Thing + 来说. The following part can be a verb or adjective stating an opinion or fact. Avoid omitting 来说, as it is essential for the 'from the standpoint of' meaning.
Other set phrases with 来说, like 一般来说 (generally speaking) and 总的来说 (in summary), function as adverbs to introduce a viewpoint. They are placed at the start of a sentence. Be careful not to break these fixed combinations.
Structure
对 + Person/Thing + 来说
followed by a statement of opinion or fact (verb/adjective)

- 对我来说，中文不容易。Duì wǒ lái shuō , Zhōngwén bù róngyì.For me, Chinese is not easy.
