Special cases of 在 following verbs

For certain verbs implying movement or location, like 住, 放, 坐, and 站, 在 comes after the verb to indicate where the action takes place. The pattern is Subject + Verb + 在 + Location. Always use this order with these verbs; placing the location before the verb would be incorrect.
